This Privacy Policy explains how Hands-Free Control ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Derar H. Mallah, handles information when you use our desktop application and website, handsfreecontrol.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and the App is built around a simple principle: your camera stays yours.
Your webcam data never leaves your device. All head-tracking, facial-gesture, and voice-command processing is performed entirely locally on your computer. We do not record, upload, transmit, or store your webcam video or images on any server, at any time.
01Camera & Facial Data
The App uses your device's webcam to detect head movement and facial gestures so you can control your computer hands-free. This processing happens in real time, on your device only. The video feed is used momentarily to compute cursor movement and gestures and is not saved. No facial images, biometric templates, or video recordings are collected by us or sent anywhere.
02Microphone & Voice Data
If you enable voice commands, the App may access your microphone to recognize commands. As with the camera, this processing is performed locally on your device. We do not collect or store your audio.
03Information We Do Collect
To operate the business, we and our service providers may process a limited amount of information:
- Purchase & account information. When you buy a subscription or lifetime license, our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, collects your name, email address, and payment details to process the transaction. We receive limited order information (such as your email and license status) to provide the product and support. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Support communications. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you provide (such as your email address and message).
- Technical data. We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services, and we do not track your activity across the web. The App does not send usage analytics about how you use its features.
04How We Use Information
We use the limited information above to deliver and support the App, process purchases and manage licenses, respond to your requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
05Service Providers
We rely on trusted third parties to run the business, including:
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and merchant of record. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for how they handle your data.
- Email — we use email to respond to support requests you send us.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking providers.
06Data Retention
We retain purchase and support records for as long as needed to provide the product, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Because webcam and voice processing is local, there is no camera or voice data for us to retain.
07Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing.
